The children came and read to the residents asking questions about their lives as they are learning about ‘Biographies’. The students will now go and write up about the residents they met and their lives. 😊
What a fun day. We engaged in shared reading and interviewing clients at Roslyn Lodge, consolidating and contextualising our English studies. We enjoyed a wonderful lunch and many memorable interactions with members of our local community.
We also had out first incursion sleepover at school! We had a blast stargazing, developing our resilience, independence and our team work abilities.
A big thank you to all our wonderful students, families and staff for such a wonderful experience.
