Michael Goss

Michael Goss, Executive Director and Chair

Michael Goss has over 30 years’ experience as a lawyer in large and mid-tier Australian firms, and is now practicing in his own legal consultancy. He has practiced primarily in commercial law, agribusiness, banking and residential aged care and has worked with finance clients such as Rabobank, NAB and ANZ. Michael is currently a board member at one of Australia’s largest health and hospital boards – Metro South HHS and a director of Queensland Rail Limited and the Queensland Rail Transit Authority. With 30 plus years of professional practice, Michael brings to the Beaumont Board his legal skills and strategic thinking, striving to deliver effective problem solving and business sustainability through strong governance controls.

David Waters

David Waters, Non-Executive Director

David Waters is a chartered accountant with over 30 years of experience working with people and numbers. As a seasoned professional with a robust career at NAB, ANZ and KPMG, David has a deep understanding of finance and a commitment to client success working with customers across most industries, including aged care. Most recently, David provides assistance to the Department of Employment and Workplace Relations, where he undertakes commercial assessments of litigation funding proposals. His ability to simplify complex financial concepts and assist owners and management with developing strategies to improve performance makes him a great fit as a Director of Beaumont Care.

Marion Tower

Dr. Marion Tower, Non-Executive Director

Dr Marion Tower is a registered nurse and an academic. As a registered nurse she has experience working in the aged care sector as well as in acute care in public and private sectors. She is currently an Associate Professor at Griffith University School of Nursing and Midwifery and an Adjunct Associate Professor at the University of Queensland. Marion has a PhD from Griffith University and a strong interest in ensuring current and future health professionals deliver contemporary, safe, and high-quality person-centred care, researching and publish in this area. Marion has long standing experience as a board director across public and private organisations and is a graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.

Elise Wardell

CEO and Beaumont Care Team

The organisation is led by Chief Executive Officer Elise Wardell, who has over 20 years of senior executive experience in the aged care and disability sector. With a background in organisational development, and business project management, Elise is highly skilled at leading organisations through periods of change and growth.

The senior management team includes several long-standing employees with many years of experience within the organisation, across corporate services, nursing and service delivery management.
