High Intensity Supports

At Beaumont Care, we provide specialised High Intensity Supports for NDIS participants with complex care needs. Our trained and competency-assessed team works closely with participants, families, Support Coordinators and healthcare professionals to deliver safe, person-centred support in line with individual care plans and clinical recommendations.

We focus on promoting independence, wellbeing, safety and quality of life through consistent and responsive support.

Complex Bowel Care: We support participants who require complex bowel care regimes, ensuring supports are delivered in accordance with prescribed care plans and clinical protocols. Our team is trained to monitor for potential complications while maintaining dignity, comfort and privacy throughout the process.

Enteral Feeding (PEG Management): Our staff are trained in the safe administration of nutrition, hydration and prescribed medications via PEG feeding systems. We follow clinician-directed support plans, monitor for potential complications and provide reliable support to help maintain health, nutritional wellbeing and daily routines.

Dysphagia & Mealtime Support: We provide specialised mealtime support for participants with swallowing difficulties, implementing recommendations from Speech Pathologists and individual mealtime management plans. Our focus is on reducing aspiration risks while promoting safe, enjoyable and dignified mealtime experiences.

Ventilation Support: Our team supports participants who require ventilation assistance, working closely with prescribed respiratory care plans and support guidelines. Staff are trained to monitor equipment, recognise changes in respiratory status and respond appropriately to support participant safety and comfort.

Airway Support: We provide airway supports, including routine care, secretion management and equipment monitoring. Supports are delivered in line with individual clinical plans, with a focus on maintaining airway safety, reducing complications and supporting participant confidence in daily life.

Urinary Catheter Management: Our experienced support workers provide safe and hygienic catheter care while monitoring for signs of infection, blockage or other complications. We work in accordance with individual health management plans to promote participant comfort, dignity and ongoing wellbeing.

Complex Wound Management: We assist with wound care and dressing changes under clinical direction, following individual wound management plans and infection prevention practices. Staff monitor wound healing and report any concerns promptly to support positive health outcomes.

Epilepsy & Seizure Support: Our staff are trained to implement participant-specific epilepsy management plans and respond appropriately to seizure activity. We provide proactive monitoring, follow prescribed emergency protocols and work closely with healthcare professionals to support participant safety and wellbeing.

Diabetes Management & Insulin Administration: We support participants with all aspects of daily diabetes management, including blood glucose monitoring, insulin administration, and other prescribed subcutaneous medications. Our team follows individual care plans, clinician instructions, and medication management requirements to ensure supports are delivered safely and effectively. Through ongoing monitoring, documentation, and recognition of changes in blood sugar levels, we help participants maintain their health, independence, and confidence.
