There were plenty of smiles to be seen when our Kippa-Ring residents recently visited White Ridge Farm for a fun-filled day in the countryside.
The outing gave residents the opportunity to slow down, enjoy the fresh air, and spend time with a range of friendly farm animals. From feeding goats and sheep to meeting chickens and a curious camel, there was no shortage of special moments throughout the day.
For many residents, the experience brought back fond memories of growing up on farms, caring for animals, or spending time in rural communities. Stories and laughter flowed as residents reminisced about their own experiences and shared memories with one another.
A tractor ride around the property was another highlight, allowing everyone to take in the beautiful surroundings and enjoy a different view of the farm. The relaxed pace of the day gave residents plenty of opportunities to connect with each other, enjoy nature, and simply have fun.
These outings provide more than just a day away from home. They create opportunities for residents to stay connected with the community, enjoy new experiences, and make meaningful memories together.
