Cyrus Meurant has just been recognised as one of Australia’s ‘Outstanding Composers’ in the international classical music magazine Interlude! (Hong Kong based). For those who are following Cy, he composed the music for Beaumont Care, Monday to Friday of which we are so proud. Congratulations Cyrus from all at Beaumont Care, and our followers.

Composer, violinist and keyboardist, Dr Cyrus Meurant CF, studied at the Sydney Conservatorium of Music and the Paris Conservatoire. His critically acclaimed work spans theatre, dance, concert hall and the health sector; including music for The Australian Ballet, Divadlo F.X. Šaldy (Czech Republic), Theatre Basel (Switzerland), the Australian Chamber Orchestra, Ensemble Signal, Omega Ensemble, and the Melbourne Symphony Orchestra.
The Cyrus Meurant Ensemble forms to present his collaborative works. Recent works include the ballet Le Petit Prince, the album Monday to Friday (nominated for ‘Innovation of the Year’, Eldercare Innovation Awards, Singapore) and the opera Herakleitos which premiered at the Laeiszhalle Hamburg.
