Today Wamuran residents went to White Ridge Farm out at Elimbah. Upon arrival we were all given a little bucket of animal feed and went straight to the Llamas. There were also some alpacas, goats, sheep and a miniature pony called Andy. Next was Babe, a miniature pig that was not so miniature! There were little piglets that we got to pet and chickens we could pick up and give a cuddle to. They liked to pinch the feed and bread out from our hands.

The farm also has a hay ride, so we strapped in and went on the tour of the whole farm, seeing the red garden gnome, Shaun the sheep, the crazy kangaroo and the fairies. The weather was perfect for us and the scenery just beautiful. Our next stop was the baby animals enclosure where we got to hold more chickens and some baby goats.

But the highlight of our trip was getting our picture taken with Gypsy the friendly camel! Thank you to Katrina and her very friendly and helpful staff at the White Ridge Farm, it was an incredible day and I’m sure we will be back.
