Peninsula had a surprise appearance of Uncle Jack McGrath, born in Wagga Wagga NSW and now living in Canberra, he has played in bands all his life. He was lead singer of “The Final Four” and “The New Dream” with a few hit songs in his time.
Uncle Jack started singing in nursing homes when Nana moved into one, and he has travelled all over from Tas, Vic, NSW and Qld doing shows at nursing homes. The crowd interaction at Peninsula, both staff and residents was uplifting as he sang and joked his way through his show. He has promised me whenever he is up in Qld he will come and do another performance for us.
