What a great day this was at Wamuran Park Home, when the Antique Machinery Restoration Society – Caboolture rode a convey of antique, but perfectly tuned tractors into the park.
Resident’s really loved this display of farm machinery, old cars, farm pumps and equipment, along with all the yarns that go with a day like this.
We would like to sincerely thank all those who dedicated their day to bringing this great nostalgia to Wam – not only did the park enjoy this, but these tractors made a very impressive convey along our roads, bring smiles and waves from passers-by.
Kathy and the team made sure the day was complete, with a great BBQ lunch for all. This was one out of the box, and our 3 “farm boys” Mark Boxsell, David Mackay and Gavin Jolley made the most of it by going up top to have the full experience and some reflective moments of earlier times, which is exactly what the day was all about.
