When you hear the term happy hour you might think of a pub or a bar, but at Beaumont care Peninsula it truly is an hour of happiness. Residents flock to the garden every other Friday at 2pm to enjoy the new alfresco dining area to have a social drink.
The communities within the home have formed really firm friendships and they love getting together having a good laugh and getting to know each other. Bill and Grant, Pedro and David and the ladies Sandra, Margaret, Betty and Josie.
If people are laughing and having fun, it releases natural endorphins in the body and that feeling will last. So they have a good laugh they may not remember in half an hour but that positive feeling or emotional memory lasts.
