A reflection
Dear Donating Mother’s day gifts Kindy kids, I had the honour of delivering your Mother’s Day bag to a Nanna. Nanna was my last gift to be delivered and it was my favourite delivery. Nanna needs very special care. Nanna’s room is in Roslyn Lodge. Nanna’s room is fit for royalty. It is the largest most beautiful room, with a huge window. At the end of Nanna’s bed is a wall of shelves that hold wonderful treasures and lots of photos.
Thank you for making Nanna such colourful craft items. Her eyes lit up when I showed her your gifts. I have displayed them on her shelves so she can see them every day. Your choice of scented flowers was PERFECT! It means Nanna’s room will forever be perfumed with your thoughtful gift. She was very interested when I read her your card. Nanna can’t speak much any more, but at the end of the card she exclaimed with glee “Mother’s Day!”.
