Men’s Shed Moments

What an amazing concert the Tamborine Mountain Men’s Shed put on for the residents at Beaumont Care’s Roslyn Lodge, North Tamborine. This incredible group of talented fella’s decided to make their own ukuleles as part of their men’s shed experience. This took them 2 and a ½ years with one friend Rob, who constructed his from Papua New Guinea cedar wood.

After making their personal ukulele’s they then decided to learn how to play them, and once they mastered that skill they came and offered a concert to the residents at Roslyn Lodge!

Well done to each of you. We thoroughly enjoyed hearing your amazing story and loved the concert music you shared with us. Residents and staff loved the enormity of your achievements. Hope to see you all again soon.
