Grant Watson is Peninsula’s Australian flag controller. Grant, a former veteran, takes great pride in hoisting the flag every morning (come hail or shine) and lowering the flag every afternoon.
Grant who is no spring chicken, is determined to see the Australian flag flying high and adheres to all of the protocols which identify the rules for raising and lowering the flag. Grant proudly took part in the Anzac Day service which was recently conducted at the Home.
