Cooking At Peninsula

Cooking has the potential to calm, increase appetite and entice people to a social gathering. Cooking provides the opportunity to take pride in oneself and perform past roles.

Here is pictures of Maria, Charlie, Nita and Emily all getting involved in the cooking sessions.

 

They made some delicious chocolate which everyone loved with their afternoon tea. Residents have their very own special recipes and some great tips on cooking to share with the group. We had a bake-off and for the Christmas party, residents cooked Rocky Road, Peppermint Balls and White Christmas.
