I had the opportunity once again to meet up with Cy who was in Brisbane for meetings, and to attend performances at the Brisbane Festival including Yang Liping’s ‘Rite of Spring’ and the 59 Productions/Rambert dance theatre work ‘Invisible Cities’. Cy is always amazed at our warm welcome and weather when he visits Queensland from his home state of NSW.
Following Cy’s success with Beaumont Care at the international Ageing Asia Conference as a Finalist for his composition of Monday to Friday, music for dementia, Cy has been busy composing and is set to release an exciting album of his compositions soon.
