Australia Day Volunteer Awarded

Australia Day Volunteer Awarded to Frank White

Congratulations to Rev. Frank White, Volunteer and Pastoral care support at Roslyn Lodge, North Tamborine.  Frank recently received a Volunteer of The Year over 65+ Award for his work at not only supporting the beautiful residents with our weekly services and spending precious time with residents, but Frank also volunteers and supports our local SES.

He is the official Chaplain for the Queensland Fire Services assisting those who have recently been affected by the devastating fires.  Along with this, Frank also is the Padre for the Tamborine Mountain RSL Branch and is a committee member and teaches religious education in two of our local schools.

If this isn’t enough he has many grandchildren whom he has the pleasure of caring for as often as he can!  Two residents at Roslyn Lodge individually wrote letters of recommendation to place with nominations for the award, thanking Rev. Frank for his support.

Congratulations from the Beaumont family staff and residents, so well deserved!
