Men from our Clontarf site recently visited the Men’s Shed at Kippa Ring for a relaxed and welcoming catch‑up focused on connection and shared time together.
The visit gave residents the opportunity to step away from their usual routines, enjoy positive social interactions, and build relationships in a supportive and inclusive environment.
Following the positive response, these Men’s Shed catch‑ups will now take place on a fortnightly basis, creating regular opportunities for ongoing connection between the Clontarf and Kippa Ring sites.
Staff supported the visit to ensure everyone felt comfortable and included, allowing participants to engage at their own pace. The Men’s Shed provides a valuable space for men to connect, share experiences, and support their wellbeing.
We look forward to continuing these fortnightly catch‑ups and supporting meaningful social engagement!
