On Valentine’s day we celebrated with a special luncheon thanks to our amazing kitchen staff and Chef Deb who put on a beautiful Roast Lamb lunch for the residents and all the spouses too. We swayed to the crooning’s of Dean Martin and indulged in chocolate heaven a dessert of Chocolate cake with chocolate mousse, cream and strawberries.

George Hirst presented his wife Ivy with some beautiful home grown Hippeastrum flowers from their garden in the home they built together just up the road from the Lodge.
Thank you to the Senior Girl Guides of Tamborine Mountain who came and visited all the residents at Roslyn Lodge for Valentine’s Day.
It was love all around as the girls handed out red roses to each resident and hand made love hearts that the girls had made at Guides the previous week. Pictured is resident Cora Hampson with Girl Guide Tahleya being presented with a thank you gift of a hand painted heart residents made as a thank you to the Guides for their kindness.
One resident commented that it brought back many happy memories for her from her time as a Girls Brigade leader and how lovely all the girls are.
