An Inspiring Place to Work

Justine is relatively new to the Beaumont Care family but already feels the positivity that radiates from the residents and staff at Wamuran Aged Care.

“I absolutely love working at this place. The staff are so positive and hardworking, and the residents are very happy,” said Justine.

“Everyone is really supportive. It’s a team, like a family.”

Justine, who is now an Assistant in Nursing (AIN), started her career in aged care as a kitchen hand. Since then, she has worked in all sorts of jobs in aged care including the laundry, cleaning, dining room servery and pharmacy. However, she has found that her passion and calling is being an aged care nurse.

“My family are all nurses in aged care – my mum, sister and my partner. Nursing is where my passion is and what I always keep going back to,” Justine said.

Director Linda Beaumont says that maintaining an industry leading workplace is important to Beaumont Care.

“We are really big on succession planning, career progression and helping our staff to get the most out of their chosen career,” said Linda.

“By helping them succeed, we are giving them the best grounding to provide exceptional warm-hearted care to our residents and participants.”
