Bus trip 25.01.2017 Ships ahoy!!
Today we had a lovely trip to the beach at Brie Island where we had a morning tea and chat. Some lovely rockmelon and sandwiches watching the paddle boarders, fishing boats and swimmers.
Barbara Callum and Janice stuck their feet in the water and wished they had taken their togs. We did a good deed watching a ladies bike so she could use the facilities and upon returning she had a lovely chat with everybody.
It was such a lovely day with beautiful weather and a gorgeous view made even better with a cool breeze.
Bus trip 1.01.17 Making a splash!!
Today we decided it was too hot to play games in the park so we packed up our towels and togs and went to the beach at Redcliffe!! All the residents enjoyed splashing around and cooling off in the clear water, even the carer Lisa had a dip.
A lot of sad faces when it was time to leave as they didn’t want to leave the refreshing water for the drive back to the country. We’ve decided next time to bring along some sausages and bread and have a BBQ lunch so we can stay a little longer and enjoy the beautiful sunny days we have here in Queensland.
