STEP 2 – ACAT ASSESSMENT
You’ll need to organise your free ACAT assessment or National Screening & Assessment Form. That’s the first step to working out what level of care you’ll require and applying for subsidies (if you’re eligible). We can connect you with the Federal Government’s My Aged Care service, or you can visit www.myagedcare.gov.au
STEP 3 – BEAUMONT CARE APPOINTMENT
You’re bound to have a lot of questions and we’re happy to provide the answers. When you visit us, a member of our team will sit down with you to help you weigh up the options and then give you a tour of the residence. There’s no rush, people usually spend around 1 to 1.5 hours with us at this appointment.
STEP 4 – HELPING YOU THROUGH THE PRACTICAL DETAILS
The next step is paperwork, but there’s no need to worry. We’ll give you all the support you need filling in the forms needed to secure a place.
STEP 5 – HOME OR HOSPITAL VISIT
Everyone’s an individual, with feelings and opinions. It’s important to us to meet you, your family or your doctors, to get to know what you need and want.
