The Board is pleased to announce the appointment of Elise Wardell as General Manager for Beaumont Care commencing Monday 5 December.
Elise comes to us with a broad career background offering much in business development, education and mentoring. She has considerable experience in community healthcare, supporting people to live independently in their homes, and has spent the past 17 years growing her current employer into a large national healthcare provider with 1500 support workers and over 1200 participants, focusing on providing aged and disability support. Elise has also spent years in the financial services industry as a business analyst, working for large organisations, including in merger and acquisition projects.
Married to Jeff with two sons – Mason 18, and Harrison 20, Elise is a very competitive indoor volleyball player at NSW State Cup tournaments, running a women’s team for the past 10 years. Elise has lived in Sydney for the past 25 years but grew up in regional Victoria. For a while now, Elise has been strategically looking for just the right opportunity to move to our Moreton Bay/Redcliffe Peninsula region to settle close to where the family has friends.
Elise says “I look forward to joining the Beaumont Team and learning from each team member. From the first interview I had with Beaumont Care, I received a real sense of a united organisation that is passionate about the services and support provided to residents. The high standards and quality of the service is evident, and that was reinforced when I visited each facility to see and feel the warm and welcoming nature at each location. My leadership style is to develop highly collaborative teams and to encourage and provide education and support to increase the skills and knowledge of all team members to enable the organisation to achieve its objectives. I look forward to getting to know the team and Beaumont Care’s inner workings to strengthen and grow the organisation.”
Michael and I as directors and the Executive Leadership Team are looking forward to welcoming Elise with Jeff to Queensland, and to benefit from all the know-how and experience that Elise will bring to Beaumont Care.
