Betty has led an adventurous life, travelling the world by ship and by plane, living overseas, and studying law. She met an Englishman during her travels, fell in love and got married, then lived in England for many years before returning to her home country, Australia.
Betty is now happy to call Beaumont Care Kippa-Ring her home. She says the best things about her aged care home are the wonderful staff, excellent food, and the busy social life.
“The staff will do anything for you. They are always here to help. The food is good and never stops coming – morning, noon and night,” Betty said.
“There is a lot of entertainment which I really enjoy – concerts, sing-alongs and special events. I join in happy hour, bingo and love the bus trips. There is also a hairdressing salon onsite where you can have your hair done. There is always something to keep you busy.”
With BBQs, happy hours, outings and activities, Beaumont Care Kippa-Ring is a homely residential aged care community where friendships are formed and loved ones and friends can live together. Close to shops, beaches, cinemas, and hospitals, this residential aged care home is an integral part of the local community and provides a high standard of 24/7 care personalised to each resident’s individual needs and choices. There are a range of accommodation options including companion and single rooms.
“All the staff are great and there is not much that you don’t have here – there is food, company and companionship,” said Betty.
