Today we held our much anticipated ‘Glee Concert’ performed by the Special School.
Staff decorated the courtyard in black and blue, the colours of the school. We had a large cake at the end of the performance shared by residents and students. Clinical Manager Michael presented the school with some flowers and an appreciation certificate.
The event went a little longer than expected – every single resident attended and absolutely loved the interaction with the students.
We are planning on having them come and perform on a regular basis purely based on the positive reactions of the residents.
Now it is all systems to go in preparation for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander function on Saturday. See that post here.
