Enhanced Dementia Care In Residential Aged Care Facilities On The Redcliffe Peninsula

Beaumont Care Peninsula recently hosted a vibrant launch activity of care professionals at its Kippa-Ring aged care service.

Mai Eames, Development Lead, Care Coordination Brisbane North PHN, sought to bring perspectives from all stakeholders including private based residential aged care facilities, additionally contributing to the development and implementation of a 4-year integrated Model of Dementia Care Program in Brisbane North.

The project plans to provide support to all residential aged care facilities in the area via the implementation of Tailored Training Packages and Consultancy Services provided by Dementia Training Australia.

Presentations and topics centered around what the project offers through networking with our local services, while supporting staff in delivering quality dementia care. A very exciting project initiative, and one Beaumont Care management and staff is supporting wholeheartedly.
