A Sunday At Peninsula

Sunday At Beaumont Care Peninsula

It was a delight to see all the visitors and residents enjoying each other’s company recently at Beaumont Care’s Kippa-Ring service, Peninsula. The staff are always so welcoming and were engaging with those coming into the home. Meira and the team were welcoming, a day for family to catch up, take photographs, pet Honey the poodle and check in on the wellbeing of their loved one.

Jeanette listened to her gospel country music, Frances, with a great appetite for reading the printed word and who recently read a special poem to Beaumont staff at the concert, and Bridget and Margaret, seated to greet those who enter the home.

A roast lunch was not too far away and it was a truly lovely time of day to witness this graciously accumulated age and knowledge, with their kind and gentle ways shining through.

Story by Linda Beaumont, pictured enjoying a lazy Sunday are residents Bridget Walker & Margaret Allum, Frances Cowles and Jeanette Beadman.
